What We Believe

We Believe that the bible is verbally inspired and without error, authoritative word of God.  As Christians, we believe that God gave the words of Scripture by inspiration to man, for our eternal benefit.  God promises that His words shall not pass away, and it is relevant today as it was in Biblical times.

We Believe that there is one true God, eternally existent in the persons of the Father, Son (Jesus, The Christ), and the Holy Spirit; these three are one, but distinct in person and function.  We believe that Jesus became the physical manifestation of the Godhead for mankind.  We believe in the virgin birth, His sinless life, the miracles He performed, and His selfless and atoning death on the cross through His shed blood.  We believe His body was resurrected from the tomb, and that He ascended into the Heavens.  We believe the Holy Spirit is the Promise of regeneration, indwelling, baptism, sanctification, illumination, and is the Agent by which we are all born into God's family through Jesus Christ.

We Believe that God created the heavens and the Earth, and that God created all life.  We reject the man-made theory of evolution occurring over millions of years.  We believe that God created male and female in His own image and created the institution of marriage between one biological man, and one biological woman.  We believe that mankind, though created in God's image, chose to sin, and because of this all people inherit a depraved nature and are lost sinners in need of a Savior(salvation).

We Believe that Christ's blood, poured out at Calvary, is the only atonement for man's sin.  We believe that salvation is a free gift of God for all mankind.  It is by grace, through faith, whereby mankind is saved.  Because of this, we affirm that the believer is called to a life of consecration which requires increasing in the knowledge of Christ and Christianity while growing in grace.

We Believe that Hell was created for Satan and his angels, and because of people's rebellion against God, all those who reject Christ and Christianity will dwell in eternity with Satan.  We believe in the resurrection of the dead, and a day soon to come, of the return of our KING, Jesus Christ!
